Perry Ellis Presents FW18 Runway Show

Iconic American designer, Perry Ellis, presented its Fall/Winter 2018 collection during New York Fashion Week. The runway show also heralded its new platform and Spring campaign ‘Life Ready Since 1976,’ which harkens back to the brand’s heritage and reinforces the idea of anywhere dressing, an important part of the Perry Ellis ethos. 

Notables including in attendance included: 21 Savage, Marc E. Bassy, Danell Leyva, Elijah Boothe, Steven Kolb, Pico Alexander and more. Drag performer contestant Daniel ‘Milk’ Donigan walked in the show. 

AT&T® Debuts “Be The Glow” with New York Listening Party

Fans packed the AT&T Store of the Future in New York City to get a first listen of the seasonal inspirational song “Be the Glow,” and meet one of the featured artists and song ambassadors: Earnest Pugh. AT&T® assembled some of the top names in Gospel and Urban music to record “Be the Glow” over the Thanksgiving holiday. Earnest Pugh, Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp recorded live in a Los Angeles-based studio, while Fantasia, Monica and Romeo recorded their parts from New York, South Carolina and Hawaii, respectively. The result is an uplifting anthem that will leave a lasting impression on the heart far beyond this holiday season.

The Apollo Theater celebrated the holidays with offerings for the entire family. The stage was set for a night of soul stirring gospel music for the holidays featuring multi-platinum superstar and five-time Grammy Award-winner Yolanda Adams (“Open My Heart”, “The Battle is the Lord’s”) with Grammy Award-winner Donnie McClurkin (“We Fall Down,” “Stand”). Their stunning voices, dazzling energy and unshakable faith ushered in the holiday spirit alongside the Greater Allen Cathedral Choir. 

NATAS New York Inducts Gold and Silver Circle Class of 2017

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) New York Chapter honored the crème de la crème in television and journalism at the prestigious Gold & Silver Circle Awards inductee’s luncheon. The ceremony was held on Thursday, November 30th, at the opulent Lambs Club, located at 132 West 44th Street, New York, NY.

Actor Aaron Diaz joined creative director Michael Maccari to unveil the new Perry Ellis fragrance on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, in New York City. The fall campaign starring Diaz was revealed during the intimate cocktail event in celebration of the brand’s ever-constant emphasis on versatile dressing.
