The stars were all aligned October 5, 2019 as Tyler Perry invited hundreds of A-list celebrities to celebrate the grand opening of his studios. Perry made history this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia becoming the first African American person to own a major film studio.
The red carpet was rolled out to welcome many of his frequent collaborators to his fete, which took place on the 330-acre lot, including Oprah Winfrey, Cecily Tyson, Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson, and Bebe Winans.
Other Hollywood heavyweights graced the carpet, including Terrence Howard, Ava DuVernay, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Viola Davis, along with politicos such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Lewis, Bernice King and Stacey Abrams.
